Costs, pinned to the moment they bill

Four lines on the bill, two billing moments. Knowing which line lands when is most of batch budgeting.

Costs

The bill's four lines, in the operator's own formula

Help article 12 states the whole cost structure in one line: the total is the product price, plus China freight, plus international freight, plus the service fee. The same article gives the fee its formula: Service charge = (Product Price + China Freight) x 6% (read 2026-10-10). Third-party summaries drift on this number; the help page is the only figure this site publishes.

Two of the four lines are batch-sensitive. China freight is the per-shipment courier leg that help 46's same-seller rule combines, so grouping shrinks it. And the service fee percentage rides on top of that freight, so a combined domestic leg also trims the fee base. Sorting the pile is not tidiness; it is arithmetic.

Compare the domestic leg before you submit a seller group

Consider two items costing 100 CNY each. If the seller confirms one 12 CNY domestic shipment for both, the purchase-plus-domestic base is 212 CNY. If two separate 12 CNY shipments are charged, it is 224 CNY. At the ordinary 6% rate in the 10 October 2026 help capture, those bases produce service charges of 12.72 and 13.44 CNY. This conditional example is arithmetic, not a promise that a seller will combine shipping.

Check the cart’s actual freight rather than deleting the second charge yourself. Items submitted at different times or dispatched separately may be treated differently. International consolidation happens later and cannot retroactively combine a seller’s domestic shipments.

For a fair payment-method comparison, use the same required wallet credit and record the full debit in your currency. Keep the conversion quote separate from the service-fee base and leave a budget for international freight and the extras you select.

Timing: the service fee waits for the ship step

Help 115 answers the question most fee pages skip: the service fee is not charged when you submit an order to buy. It is charged when the items have arrived at the warehouse and you submit them to ship (read 2026-10-10).

So a batch spends money twice. Round one, at submission: product prices plus domestic freight, per seller group. Round two, weeks later at the ship step: international freight plus the service charge on everything in the parcel. Wallet planning for a thirty-link batch means leaving room for round two after round one clears - the second bill arrives exactly when the batch feels finished.

Membership tiers lower the fee percentage

Help 38 lays out the membership ladder: ordinary accounts pay the standard rate, and VIP tiers step the service fee down to 5, 4 and 3 percent, with Gold reached at 5000 yuan of spend (read 2026-10-10). For a steady batch habit the tiers compound with the grouping rule: the same spend, grouped well, hits the thresholds while paying less along the way.

A dating detail from the article itself: its text still carries the phrase "support the Panli network", wording that predates the current brand surface. Old sentences survive in live help centres; take the numbers, note the fossils.

Yuan in, display currency out

The native unit everywhere on the operator's forms is the yuan: Expert Buy's price and domestic-freight fields take RMB, and its running total renders as ¥ with a dollar figure beside it. Your card settles in your own currency, which makes the exchange rate you actually pay a real cost line. A third-party measurement put that currency conversion markup at +0.4% as of 2026-10-08, and the all-in markup against a mid-market baseline at +6.4% as of 2026-10-02 - measurements with dates, not operator claims, and not promises.

The shipping estimator takes a destination, a weight in grams and dimensions, but its results sit behind a login, so no per-kilo price appears on this site. For rails, the June 2024 payment notice and the live configuration disagree; the updates page holds both, and the checkout page on payment day is the referee.
