Hosts, sorted by how their links behave

Nine names on the operator's list, three in its search, one form for everything photo-shaped. This page is the acceptance test for your pile.

The nine hosts the operator names, and the three it searches

Buy For Me's own tips line, as served on their site: available for Taobao, Tmall, JD, No.1, VIP Shop, Dangdang, 1688, Yupoo and Wechat; unable to search items, try Expert Buy (read 2026-10-11). Method 2's in-site search covers Taobao, Tmall and 1688. Two different lists, two different promises: nine hosts they will buy from, three they can find things on.

Yupoo and WeChat sit on the nine-host list with an asterisk the next section explains. For anything not listed at all, their 1688-and-others article (help 119) says the quiet part plainly: place the order the same way and they buy from any website, as long as the note box carries the real price, freight, colour and size.

The marketplace strip on their homepage cycles through more names than the tips line: alongside Tmall and Taobao it shows 1688, zhuanzhuan and Goofish, the two big second-hand markets. A second-hand host on the carousel does not rewrite the Buy For Me list, but it tells you resale links are not alien to the pipeline - they just deserve the same note-box detail as any other off-list host, plus a harder look at the seller.

Yupoo albums and WeChat sellers ride the Expert Buy form

A Yupoo album is a photo wall with a seller's contact behind it; a WeChat listing is a chat message. Neither is a product page, so neither survives the paste field. The route the operator built for them: upload the item photo to imgur, put that image link in the Expert Buy form's picture field, and type the price, domestic freight, size and seller details yourself. The live form has exactly those blanks - product URL, picture link or upload, remarks, price and domestic freight in yuan, quantity.

Their own note under the form is the honest part: sellers from WeChat, Yupoo or Weidian carry no buyer protection, no chargeback if the seller takes payment and ships nothing. The form moves the typing to you and the risk stays with you; price that in when a Yupoo link fights a catalogue link for the same budget.

Contact Seller covers the questions a form cannot

When a listing is ambiguous - batch colour, restock date, whether the size runs small - the operator's Contact Seller page takes the question to the shop: describe the product, attach up to three reference images, get the answer relayed within one to two business days (their page, read 2026-10-11). For a batch this is the pre-flight tool: fire the questions while the rest of the pile is being cleaned, and the slow answers stop blocking the fast links.

The operator will relay questions and flag suspicious sellers, but the first filter is the store page itself. Every seller signal below is readable without a word of Chinese:

  • Sales count next to the price. A four-digit monthly figure on the exact listing beats a five-digit shop total.
  • Review photos, not review stars. Customer shots in daylight are the product; the studio banner is the pitch.
  • Shop age and response figures on the seller panel; a store younger than your shopping list deserves a smaller first order.
  • The same item across two shops with a price gap wider than a third is not a discount, it is a different product wearing the same photos.

Host-specific traps that surface at submission time

  • 1688 minimums. Their step-two tip is blunt: most 1688 products carry a minimum order quantity. A single-pair link from a wholesale listing bounces or waits for a re-confirmation; check the quantity ladder on the listing before the link enters the pile (their Buy For Me tips; help 119 repeats the warning).
  • Restricted goods get flagged late. Their submit flow warns that some items are restricted for international delivery; a flagged item stalls its whole seller group, so pull obvious cases - batteries, liquids, blades - into their own round.
  • Redemption and pre-sale listings want their terms confirmed before ordering, per help 15; a pre-sale ship date quietly re-times your whole parcel.
  • App-only coupons die in the paste. The price your link carries is the web price; if the deal lived in an app banner, expect the web figure to stand.

The four traps mapped to the moment they fire. Each one is cheaper to catch while the pile is still a pile.
